Dear friend,

Good day to you! It gives me great pleasure to pen my first message to you on this micro-site on ‘Renovation Updates’.

Ramesh RamanathanWith excellence in product and service design as our goal, the entire Sterling team has been working round-the-clock for the past few months to upgrade our resorts and services to best-in-class standards. While we started with refurbishing some rooms, January onwards two of our resorts (Munnar and Lake View in Kodaikanal) are undergoing a complete makeover.

You might ask ‘What is with all this renovation?’ I would like to quote the American Author – Gail Sheehy here – “If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living.” In Sterling’s case, the change we are working towards is with the objective of enhancing the holiday lifestyle of all our guests.

Over the years, we have always listened to what our valuable customers had to say. We are now incorporating those changes. The revamped Sterling will boost your holiday experience. At Sterling, we understand that every place is unique in its own sense, and it is only fair that the resort emanates the same feel to the people visiting it, making it a lingering memory. Our Kodaikanal resort’s makeover for example will reflect the British Colonial/Country Style which the whole hill station exudes, while Munnar will be a fusion of the contemporary with classic Kerala.

The resorts donning the new look would be ready for booking by April and we look forward to serving an exquisite experience that only Sterling Holidays can offer. In the meantime, we will be updating this blog/micro-site with pictures and information on the makeover that’s happening to our resorts.

I would like to end this post on the modern day philosopher Alfred North Whitehead’s quote “The art of progress is to preserve order amid change and to preserve change amid order”. And on these lines, we at Sterling Holidays are happy to say that we are making progress.

    Allow timeshare members to make online holidays bookings similar to that of RCI. that is long overdue.This will enhance company image, since it will show an open and clean system of booking.This will also help in reducing your overhead costs as will save on manpower required for handling bookings.

      Thanks for your support and suggestions. You have made a very valid point. We have some initial work to do, before we can offer online booking.

      We have already started this and shall definitely offer this facility in the future.

    Was IN Munnar resort last year as timeshare member.Renovation or no renovation staff attitude was outstanding.If you are cared even less facilties can be overlooked.

    I have put a review of same on tripadvisor which is already viewed by more than 2000 persons.

    I have become a member recently only & just want to give you a feedback on your customer helpline which takes too much of time to either pick the call & waiting time itself is pretty high.

    I am trying to book dates from 12th May to 16th May at Munnar Green Vista Sterling but afraid as i hve seen lot of negative remarks but in a hope of staying at a renovated place still want to book at sterling. Unfortunatly unable to get any pictures of renovated rooms ,
